Financial advice

One of the best ways to make sure you have enough retirement income is to participate in an effective planning process that will give you all the ingredients for thoughtful financial decisions.

As a member of TransPension you have access to retirement and financial advice.  Financial advisers offer practical and transparent advice that focuses on your personal needs.

The trustee will pay for your first piece of single issue superannuation advice with a financial adviser. If you have further questions about your super or financial matters or you need a financial plan, a financial adviser will outline the fees before you decide to proceed.

As a TransPension member, fees for the service can be deducted from your TransPension account when the advice you are given relates to superannuation and retirement. Conditions apply, so email financialadvice@twusuper.com.au for more information.

How can a financial adviser help you?

A financial adviser can:

  • Assist you with choice of fund
  • Plan for your retirement
  • Understand your investment alternatives and implement them
  • Help you take control of your money
  • Help you achieve your financial goals
  • Identify your personal insurance needs
  • Manage your tax liability

Financial advisers do not take commissions - they charge a flat fee for services so their advisers are free to recommend strategies that work for you.
