  • Have insurance elsewhere?

    If you have insurance with another super fund or life insurer, you can apply to transfer that cover to your TWUSUPER account without providing medical history.

    The type of cover you are transferring must be the same as the type of cover you are applying for with TWUSUPER.

  • Lifetime event insurance cover

    Note: We are currently upgrading our insurance offer and the new lifetime event application form will be available from 27 May 2017. If you need to talk to someone in the meantime, please contact us on 1800 222 071 between 8am and 8pm AEST weekdays.

    Lifetime event cover provides extra Death and TPD cover for specific life events such as marriage, having a child, getting a mortgage, the death of a spouse, divorce, a child starting school or becoming eligible for Centrelink Carer's Allowance.

    The insurer must receive your application:

      • no more than 60 days after the event, or
      • within 60 days after the first member statement is issued to you after the event.

    Are you a new member?

    If you're a new TWUSUPER member, you can apply for an additional unit of Death and TPD cover without providing evidence of health. You need to apply within 120 days of the date of issue of the letter confirming your membership.

    This can be applied for through your member application when you first join the Fund, or you can complete our Application for an additional unit of basic cover form.

    Death and TPD cover

    You can apply for extra Death and TPD cover online through Member Access or by completing an Application for additional insurance form.

    Income protection cover

    You can apply for income protection cover online through Member Access or by completing an Application for additional insurance form.

    Fixed cover

    Fixed cover lets you keep the dollar amount of your basic insurance cover the same over time so it doesn't decrease with your age.

    Use this form to apply for fixed cover or revert back to basic cover.

  • Are you a TransPersonal member?

    Note: We are upgrading our insurance offer and from 27 May 2017 all TransPersonal members will have access to the same insurance arrangements as TWUSUPER and Transuper members.   • Reducing or cancelling cover

    You can reduce or cancel cover, but if you reapply for cover later you will need to provide health evidence.
