If you haven't already done so, take a look at our TransPension Product Disclosure Statement to better understand your retirement income options with TWUSUPER.
To open a retirement income account, complete the application form in the back of the Product Disclosure Statement and return it to us.
Before you start, combine your super
You can't add money to your retirement income account once you've set it up so it makes sense to first combine your super into a single account.
If you don't already have a super account with TWUSUPER, we can open one for you and receive any rollovers or contributions you want to use to start your account.
It’s important your account is set up properly so you get the most out of it.
Because of the different ways your salary, super and income payments are taxed, you need to understand what you’re doing.
In particular, the rules around the Centrelink Age Pension and other social security benefits can be very complex and starting an account with TransPension could affect your (and your spouse’s) Centrelink entitlements.
