From 1 July 2022 you no longer need to meet a work test if aged less than 75, unless you wish to claim a deduction for an after-tax contribution.

This means that, if you're aged 67 to 74, unless you’re claiming a tax deduction for an after-tax contribution, the work test no longer applies.

The contribution must be received by the fund within 28 days after the end of the month you turn 75 years old. So, if your birthday is in October (any day), the contribution must be received by the 28th of November.
