TWUSUPER was created to help the people who keep Australia moving.
We're proud to look after the people whose hard work ensures we have fresh food in our supermarkets, petrol to pump into our cars, and can get to work and go on holiday.
We're here for the people who work long hours, often away from their families.
The people who look after our everyday needs, day in day out, and deserve a better retirement.
TWUSUPER. The Industry Super Fund where...
All profits go to members
In the early 1980s – with the help of several well-known transport companies including Linfox, TNT, Brambles and Mayne Nickless – TWUSUPER was created as the Industry Super Fund for people in transport and logistics.
Today, we're the largest Industry Super Fund for transport and logistics workers, with over $5 billion in funds under management.
We show our support of the transport and logistics industry by investing in the infrastructure and businesses that keep Australia moving.
And as an Industry Super Fund, all profits end up in members’ accounts, not shareholders’ pockets. Everything we do is tailored to the needs of transport and logistics workers – from the investment options we offer, through to insurance and help over the phone
You can compare the pair
Over the past 15 years, we have on average delivered more to members than the average retail super fund.
For example, based on a starting income of $50,000 and a starting super balance of $60,000, TWUSUPER has delivered $25,212 more than the average retail super fund over the past 15 years.*
Enough to buy a boat, a car… or a better lifestyle.

* TWUSUPER as an average outperformed the average retail fund over the past 15 years. Comparisons modelled by SuperRatings, commissioned by TWUSUPER and shows average differences in net benefit of TWUSUPER's balanced investment option and the main balanced options of retail funds tracked by SuperRatings, with a 15 year performance history, taking into account historical earnings and fees – excluding contribution, entry, exit and additional adviser fees. Outcomes vary between individual funds. Modelling as at 30 June 2020. See Assumptions for more details about modelling calculations and assumptions. Past performance is not a reliable indicator of future performance and should never be the sole factor considered when selecting a fund.
We've got you covered
TWUSUPER members can access flexible, affordable insurance cover to help protect you and your family in the event of death or serious illness or injury.
You don't have to work in transport to benefit from the group insurance arrangements TWUSUPER has negotiated on behalf of our members. To help tailor the insurance you need, we have three occupation groups catering for manual roles, non-manual office-based roles and office-based professionals.
Investment returns are solid
TWUSUPER has a history of delivering solid investment returns over the long-term. The Balanced (MySuper) option, which most members are invested in, has delivered an average annual return of 7.43% pa* over the past 10 years (1 July 2010 through to 30 June 2020).
* Investments can go up and down. Past performance is not necessarily indicative of future performance. Net of taxes, fees and investment expenses. The Balanced (MySuper) option was known as the Balanced option prior to 1 July 2013.
** Comparisons modelled by SuperRatings, commissioned by TWUSUPER and shows average differences in net benefit of TWUSUPER's balanced investment option and the 'main Balanced option' of retail funds tracked by SuperRatings, with a 5 (119 options), 10 (57 options) and 15 (39 options) year performance history, taking into account historical earnings and fees – excluding contribution, entry, exit and additional advisor fees – of 'main Balanced options'. A ‘main Balanced option’ being the fund’s largest Balanced option where 60% to 76% of the fund’s assets are invested in growth investments. This is generally the fund’s default option. Where a fund does not have a Balanced option, the option closest to SuperRatings benchmark range of 60% to 76% growth investments is used. Outcomes vary between individual funds.
